1CE, The Imposters Among Us: Vacant Property Fraud

Description

Over the past several months, there have been an alarming number of reports of seller ownership fraud across the US and Montana. The Montana Board of Realty Regulation (Rule 24.210.641 (1)(f)) clearly states it is the responsibility of the listing agent to promptly verify the principal listing the property is the owner or is authorized by the owner to list the property. Given current technology, this is very difficult to do. This course will provide knowledge, awareness, tools and resources for licensees to protect their clients, customers, themselves and unknowing property owners from severe financial harm.
