Date & Time: Thursday, November 14th, 2024 9:00 AM – 10:15 AM Location: Great Falls Association of Realtors Office 401 13th Ave S, Great Falls, MT 59405 Event Overview: Join us for an informative session on Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) in Great Falls. 

The Great Falls Association of Realtors, in partnership with the Great Falls Development Alliance and the City of Great Falls, will host this public forum to provide essential information about ADUs and the implementation of Montana Code Annotated 76-2-345. Whether you're a realtor, homeowner, builder, developer, or curious community member, this event is designed to offer valuable insights on ADU regulations, financing, and practical steps for moving forward. 

Agenda: 9:00 AM – Welcome and Opening Remarks Introduction by representatives from the Great Falls Association of Realtors, the Great Falls Development Alliance, and the City of Great Falls. 

9:10 AM – Presentation 1: Understanding ADU Regulations Presented by the City of Great Falls Planning & Community Development Staff An overview of ADU regulations, including key provisions of MCA 76-2-345, and the specific characteristics of ADUs in Great Falls. (20 minutes) 

9:30 AM – Presentation 2: Financing ADUs Presented by local financing experts Learn about available financing options and strategies for building or converting ADUs, including loans, grants, and other funding resources. (20 minutes)

 9:50 AM – Open Panel Discussion: Q&A with Experts An interactive session where attendees can ask questions directly to a panel of city planners, financing professionals, and housing experts. (35 minutes)
